MRI and X-Ray Field Engineer - JhbFull job description SummaryAs the MRI and X-Ray Field Engineer, you will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customerxe2x80x99s equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives. ResponsibilitiesAdvanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment.Daily interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to primary customers. Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team and assists in the growth and direction of business in his/her geographic areaWorking as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost effective service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.Responsible for Warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contract cost control. Administration: Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) and PMS inspections documentation for assigned accounts.Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes, plays a leading role on complex and multifunctional system fixes.Installation: Plays a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.Required QualificationsQualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent.Technical analytical skillsSolid Field Services experience in X-Ray and/or MRIComprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities.Proficient in English.Ability to work independently with minimum direction.High work standards and quality.
