Job Responsibilities:
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:
- Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
- Ensure customer satisfaction
Surveying:
- Conduct opencasts and underground survey
- Plot and project survey points
- Perform tape surveys
- Plot linear measurements on a plan and calculate quantities
- Establish survey control and align drilling machines
- Produce a survey note
- Measure the stratigraphic widths of a mineral exposure
- Install grade chains in developments
- Establish side grade pegs in a flat development and inclined development.
- Controlling operational costs and maximizing profit
- Capital and working cost budgets management.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12/N3 with Maths & Science
- Elementary Survey certificate
- Must have experience in mining environment
