REQUIREMENTS

Affirmative Action South African citizen
Minimum N3 Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
Trade Test Certificate Motor Mechanic
Valid a Master Technician qualification at the dealer level
Have 3 years of post-qualification experience in an after-sales workshop environment

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Must be a High-Voltage Technician
Computer literacy (Ms Office)
Require ODIS and ElsaPro knowledge
Operational knowledge of the group's diagnostic equipment (VAS/ VCI)
Have sound up-to-date knowledge of the brand's vehicles and commercial products
Capable of working without supervision to high safety and quality standards
A proven technical knowledge and its applications and be able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility
Flexible when required to work overtime at short notice
Have an unendorsed driver's license (minimum old Code 08)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute mechanical service and repair activities at the service garage in Kariega
Servicing and repairing the company's passenger and commercial vehicles
Doing all electrical repairs on passenger and commercial models
Ensuring road safety through quality workmanship
Staying abreast of development by reading workshop bulletins and workshop manuals
Ensuring that workshop regulations and safety are adhered to
Maintaining a clean working area
Training allocated apprentices
Assisting with preparing vehicles for press launches
Fitment of required accessories to our models
Ensuring that all work carried out in the workshop or by the appointed supplier is of the required quality
