Purpose of the Job

The is purpose of the Money Market Assistant is to support the Money Market finance team by efficiently and accurately processing of bulk gift card orders. This involves handling incoming orders, verifying order details, payment confirmation, coordinating with courier companies, and ensuring timely order fulfilment. This role is responsible for maintaining order records and providing exceptional customer service throughout the order processing cycle.

Job Objectives

Customer Service Excellence:

Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests related to gift card orders. This includes providing customer requests for invoices.

Handle order-related issues, returns, and exchanges professionally and efficiently.

Collaborate with the internal teams to address order-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Efficient Order Processing

Receive and review incoming customer orders via various available channels (email or phone, etc.). This includes preparing invoices for customers.

Accurately input order details into the order management system (i.e., SAP, or Excel, etc.).

Ensure that the order information, including bulk card quantities, prices, and delivery addresses, is accurate.

Delivery Coordination

Schedule and coordinate the delivery of the order with the courier company and ensure the timeous delivery of as per customer expectations.

Ensure orders are delivered on schedule and liaise with the courier company to track the status of the delivery and inform the customer on delivery progress, expected time of arrival (ETA), expected delays, etc.

Communicate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Administrative Efficiency

Maintain organised and up-to-date records of all orders, including order confirmations, delivery documents, invoices, proof of payment.

Quality Control

Ensure orders are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Perform quality checks on orders to minimise errors and improve order accuracy.
Qualifications

Matric Certificate xe2x80x93 (essential)
Experience

Some work experience or a company bursary holder or a tertiary institution student xe2x80x93 (essential)
Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) xe2x80x93 (essential)
