Role Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold either of the following:


a National Diploma in Medical Technology, National Certificate in Medical Technology, BTech in Biomedical Technology (Clinical Pathology), ,BSc Honors Degree, BSc Degree in Molecular Biology or a Degree in Bachelor of Science Medical Laboratory Sciences HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist, Medical Technician, BSc Medical Technician, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Scientist in Genetics/Virology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Clinical Pathology or Immunology.

These qualifications ensure that you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional accreditation to perform confidently and competently in a dynamic laboratory environment. We are looking for candidates with 0- 5 years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting. This experience provides the practical grounding needed to navigate the complexities of clinical diagnostics.

Skills Requirements

Success in this role requires a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. You must be able to communicate fluently in English, perform basic numerical calculations with accuracy, and use computer systems effectively to support laboratory operations. Your ability to collaborate, adapt, and contribute to a people-centric environment will be key to your success.

Role Impact
