National Technical Manager

to lead our dynamic local and international technical team of field service technicians.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for all technical aspects of the business. Overall management of the technical team that is responsible for the Installation, maintenance, and repair of Industrial Coding, Inspection & Product Integrity Technologies Travel to the relevant technical offices on a monthly/quarterly basis

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

A BEng or BSC Engineering Degree, preferably in the electrical field +-5 years high level management / leadership experience A proven track record managing technical teams with the focus on providing service excellence A good understanding of both machine mechanics & electronic control systems Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate, lead, mentor and grow his/her team, with staff based across the country, as well as personnel outside of the country. This is of the utmost importance Customer facing personality with the ability to maintain good customer relations and develop new business This is a Johannesburg based position, with significant time spent visiting customers and personnel locally & abroad. Candidates must be willing to travel Excellent organisational and administrative skills Strategic thinker High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with principals, clients and personnel on multiple levels
