Job Purpose:
Ikwezi Mining invites applications for a 2-year
Mining Engineering internship
at our Newcastle operations. The successful candidate will assist in the design, planning as well as the drill and blasting operations.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the mine planning, design and scheduling. Participate in safety and risk management. Assist with rock mechanics and geotechnical analysis. Assist in daily underground and surface surveying activities
Key Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Mining Engineering. Strong knowledge of Mining principles regulations Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
