They are our greatest asset.Join us and let's grow together.We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in Witbank, Mpumalanga.Mineral Rights ManagerThe incumbent in this role is responsible for providing legal and compliance support and advice to Glencore Coal SA with regards to Mineral Rights including liaison with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy. The incumbent in this role will further oversee the co-ordination of Social Labour Plan's, Mining Charter Compilations including reporting and BBBEE verification.Key Responsibilities
Providing legal and compliance advice on the activities of the company relating to mining and mineral resources.
Identifying, compiling and updating the legal and statutory framework.
Maintaining the legal document repository.
Reporting on significant legal matters.
Lodging relevant mining applications and objections.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent.
A Management qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum Experience
The candidate should have post articles or Mining Rights Manager experience in a corporate or mineral rights environment.
Understanding and knowledge of the Mineral Petroleum and Resources Development Act, 28 of 2002, as amended and the Mining Titles Registration Act 16 of 1967.
Understand DMRE processes and working experience and understanding of the MPRD Act, BBBEE Act, Mining Charter and other related legislation.
Experience in legal compliance reporting.
