Job Description
A great mining company in Steelpoort, Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a Mine Overseer to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, and breaking predetermined blocks Of ground, efficiently and safely
- Delivering quality ore
- Review and introduce mining best practices to enhance performance efficiencies over the long term
- Negotiate with the logistics department in both stoping and development areas to contribute to the effective performance of the operational area
- Safe and healthy mining practices
- Mining production
- Section panel layouts
- Mining planning (Short to medium term)
- Grade 12
- Mine Overseer Certificate
- Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
- Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering
- 8 - 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a underground trackless mining environment
- Minimum 3 years at Mine Overseer level
- Salary: R1.4M/yr - R1.6M/yr, negotiable.
