Job Description
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification a plus
- Hands-on experience in:
- Mechanical systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Electrical systems and panel wiring
- Preferably be able to do fault finding on PLCs, not programming, but be able to go into the program and see what the machine is not working.
- Good knowledge on sensors
- Must be able to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Must be able to do basic work on a lathe
- Must be able to do basic welding and sheet metal work.
- Must be computer literate.
- Assembly of machines, conveyors and systems
- Panel wiring
- Field wiring
- Commissioning of systems
- Maintenance and fault finding (20% of his time)
- Installation of machinery and equipment on site.
