Job Description
Introduction:
Promed Pharmatech is seeking a qualified and experienced Millwright to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on factory machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Install, align, and commission machinery and equipment
Fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Participate in standby, overtime, and shift work as required
Qualifications:
Millwright (Trade Tested / Red Seal) or related field
Mandatory Experience
:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a factory environment
Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and production lines
Welding and fabrication skills
Basic PLC fault-finding (advantageous)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R8000,00 - R10000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal 4339: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
