REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate must have


Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science. Recognised Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright (Electrical/Mechanical). At least 3-5 years post-trade experience in an industrial or utility environment (water sector experience will be an added advantage). Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, pumps, motors, and instrumentation systems. Valid driver's licence. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to work standby, overtime, shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required

DUTIES:

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and related plant machinery. Perform electrical installations, wiring, and panel maintenance in compliance with safety standards. Ensure minimal downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns. Conduct routine inspections and compile maintenance reports. Adhere to OHS Act requirements, company safety rules, and environmental compliance standards. Support plant operations by ensuring optimal performance of equipment
