Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission mechanical equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps
- Perform planned maintenance and attend to breakdowns on mechanical systems
- Diagnose faults and repair or replace faulty mechanical components
- Conduct routine inspections and complete maintenance checklists
- Align and balance rotating equipment using precision tools
- Fabricate and modify mechanical parts and structures as needed
- Perform basic welding and cutting tasks
- Adhere to mine health and safety regulations and procedures
- Record maintenance activities and report equipment failures
- Collaborate with other trades during shutdowns and major overhauls
- Grade 12
- Millwright Trade Test Certificate
- N2 Certificate in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Millwright in the mining industry
- Extensive experience on the following equipment: Komatsu (860E, 730E) & CAT (777)
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
