So, what do we need from you? First and foremost, you must have a Red Seal trade test under your belt. Were also looking for someone with 4-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, maintaining plant equipment and keeping it in great shape. Youll be the go-to person for testing units, evaluating electrical and mechanical operations, and even dabbling with PLCs. If you're a pro at calibrating instruments like flowmeters and scales, thats a definite bonus!
Youll also be responsible for training and mentoring talented apprentices. So, if youve got strong leadership skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, youll fit right in. And having some general admin skills, like handling job cards, would be handy.
We need someone with top-notch electrical fault finding and installation skills and someone whos prepared to work shifts and be on standby to handle any emergencies that might arise. Own transport to facilitate travel is also a must.
