to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The position will be responsible for but not limited to:
Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to specifications
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as required
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
Utilise knowledge and skills to assist Maintenance Technicians/Manager in the department
Utilise knowledge and skills to ensure that all electrical systems in the company meets compliance standards
Utilise knowledge and skills to install machines and equipment required in the production process in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Utilise knowledge and skills to identify faults and conduct repair work on all machinery required in the production process in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Utilise knowledge and skills to calibrate production machinery as required and to conduct planned maintenance in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Utilise knowledge and skills to test and evaluate the performance of machinery and equipment used in the production process in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Utilise knowledge and skills to apply Occupational Health and Safety principles in area of work
Utilise knowledge and skills to design and modify electrical circuits and install required drives (AC drive, DC drive, etc.)
Assist in preparing the department and company for audits in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Complete log-books and inspection report in consultation with the Maintenance Manager
Apply food safety and health & safety principles as per training received
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the below minimum requirements:
Trade certification as Millwright (or equivalent)
Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
Good physical condition and ability to work in industrial environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Willingness to work shifts or on-call when required
