MILLWRIGHT
Ref: CXP067/2023 To undertake and be responsible for the electrical / mechanical maintenance on company sites.
Salary tctc: R30 000 xe2x80x93 R45 000 xe2x80x93 dependent on experience and quals
Location: Durban North Main Duties include:
- Ensure all mechanical & electrical maintenance and fabrication work is performed to the required quality standards.
- The safe and efficient performance of maintenance and fabrication duties
- The correct usage and safeguarding of company assets.
- Strict adherence to OHS regulations
- Implement and perform planned maintenance actions (mech., electr. & Instr.)
- Appointed as Responsible Person (mechanical & electrical)
- Undertake related assignments and maintenance duties as assigned by the
- Certified Trade Test as Millwright
- Hold a wiremanxe2x80x99s license / electrical trade test
- At least 5 years proven experience as a Millwright artisan with strong mechanical maintenance skills and experience
- Medically fit to work on industrial and mining sites.
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license.
- Prepared to work shifts, standby, callouts, and overtime
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Computer literate
- Grade 12 / N3 / Equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification (Preferred)
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Certificate (Preferred)
- Millwright artisan: 5 years (Required)
- strong mechanical maintenance skills: 5 years (Preferred)
- driverxe2x80x99s license. (Preferred)
