Leads a team of business, systems, and data analysts to support a solutions strategy in close collaboration with the Operational, Process, and IT teams. You will manage a complex business solutions environment, supporting the roadmaps of existing in-house and third party systems while leading the planning, design, and implementation of new technological developments for the Merchandise and Planning departments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative business solutions to support the strategic roadmaps of the Merchandise and Planning departments.
Manage the operational performance of the Merchandise and Planning Solutions team by increasing efficiency and effectiveness of all relevant applications and technologies.
Manage project delivery and execution with Business stakeholders.
Research market trends as well as industry best practices.
Ensure alignment with key stakeholders by developing and sharing KPI reports and dashboards with relevant stakeholders.
Facilitates a support team culture, values and principles in line with the Pep Sikhula KunYe culture.
Lead and coach a large team of business, systems and data analysts.
People Management.
Budget Management.
Management of key third party software vendor accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance cooperation and achieve business goals.
Keep abreast of industry trends in the retail space to improve service delivery to stakeholders.
Relevant Bachelor's degree
Senior Management experience
Retail experience
Extensive experience in systems and processes preferably in the merchandise planning, buying and supply chain environments.
8+ years experience leading project teams to deliver complex, technical solutions.
Have a passion for technology solutions
Advanced knowledge, understanding and application of project management.
Strong communication skills
Understanding of business processes
Strong problem solving abilities
Ability to collaborate and coordinate solution delivery between multiple stakeholders and teams.
