This position requires a polished hospitality professional who delivers seamless planning, confident communication and meticulous coordination for all group and event bookings. The ideal candidate understands the operational demands of a luxury lodge, manages complex itineraries with ease and ensures every group experience reflects the high standards of the company's brand. This position calls for someone who is proactive, highly detail focused and able to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents and event organisers. The role is central to both the events planning cycle and the commercial success of the property, and requires a calm, solutions driven approach in a dynamic hospitality environment. Requirements 5 plus years' experience managing groups and events within a luxury lodge or hotel environment, including handling multi day programmes, VIP clients and detailed itineraries. Hospitality, Tourism or Events Management qualification preferred. Strong administrative and organisational ability demonstrated through accurate documentation, records management and clear client communication. Previous exposure to reservations and event planning processes that include preparing quotes, drafting contracts, managing room allocations and supporting financial reconciliation. Operational understanding that supports itinerary planning and ensures all event logistics are realistic, guest focused and aligned with property capability. Ability to manage all communication with organisers, agents and corporate planners from enquiry through to pre arrival support. Experience conducting professional site inspections and preparing tailored proposals. Strong coordination skills that ensure effective handovers to lodge management and departmental teams for flawless event execution. Confident ability to support revenue generation through upselling, accurate forecasting and collaboration with Sales on rates and tailored packages. Professional communication style, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage pressure while meeting deadlines. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience on Opera is a strong advantage. Valid driver's license. Experience working in a game reserve or remote lodge environment is beneficial.
