We are Hiring: Medical Receptionist (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are looking for a vibrant, organised, and customer-obsessed Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (full day) and Saturday mornings (half day). What You Will Do

• Greet and guide patients with genuine warmth, energy, and professionalism
• Manage appointment bookings and practitioner schedules seamlessly
• Answer calls, emails, and queries confidently and efficiently
• Handle billing and payments using Elixir Live (Altron HealthTech)
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Take payments at the time of consultation, follow up on outstanding accounts, and manage the debtor book
• Oversee day-to-day admin and keep the front office running like clockwork
• Support inventory, supplier coordination, and occasional reporting tasks

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a medical practice or similar customer-facing environment
• Confidence using Elixir Live (essential)
• Understanding of Xero (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
• Ability to juggle tasks and stay calm under pressure
• A team player who brings energy, initiative, and attention to detail
• Must be available full-time: Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings
