The Medical Insurance Application Specialist plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for patients or new members seeking medical insurance coverage. This position involves guiding applicants through the enrollment process, verifying eligibility, and ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients and new members with completing medical insurance applications, renewals, and updates.
- Verifying personal information to determine eligibility for coverage.
- Explaining insurance plan options, benefits, and requirements in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
