Job Description
As a professional all services delivered needs to be in line with the Cancercare values, of CARE. Authorization process
Auth clerk must manage and coordinate the SAOC/E-auth form and direct it to various departments Auth clerk must send the completed SAOC/E-auth forms to the Medical aid Auth clerk must follow up on the process Check received authorization prior to start of treatment Responsible for re-auths or/and adjustments Upkeep of stats Upkeep of recorded data Prompt and accurate process Minimal delays for excellent private patient care Availability of recorded documents when needed as proof Smooth workflow
Patient care and rendering of a quality service
Assist with telephonic queries Feedback to multi-disciplinary team regarding auth process Hands-on problem solving and assistance with any queries
2 Years in Medical Reception; Knowledge of ICD 10 coding and oncology background
