Enhance efficiency within the purchasing department by maximizing cost-centre effectiveness
Verify the accuracy of information from the purchasing department to maintain precision
Foster effective process control through collaboration between purchasing and finance
Uphold professional conduct in counter sales
Gather prices and delivery terms from suppliers for specified items
Generate accurate purchase orders based on requisitions
Monitor and report deviations, maintaining a filing system for outstanding purchase orders
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in counter sales with a strong focus on hydraulic/mechanical equipment
Showcase computer literacy, especially proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project
Demonstrate robust communication skills and assertive business acumen
Capable of maintaining effectiveness under pressure
Possess a solid grasp of the General Conditions of Contract
Stay informed and updated on Sub-Saharan and African E&I markets and opportunities
Qualification:
Grade 12
N4 Mechanical Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
