Mechanical Design engineer required for Military Vehicle designs. Must have solid skills in 3D design , conceptual design and skills to integrate various mechanical design systems. Company does the design and manufacturing for a variety of clients across Boarder and internationally.

Mechanical Design engineer: Automotive designs:

The engineer we require, will form integral role within the mechanical design team.

The engineer will provide design and integration of land systems for the defense and security industries, mostly overseas.

The company also manufacture the vehicles to meet a diverse range of operational requirements on the modern battlefield. Design and develop military-grade vehicles & security technologies for overseas markets, mostly Africa, Middle East and South America

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.(Master's degree in mechanical engineering will be advantageous).
• Experience within Dxc3xa9fense Industry
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Engineering
• Working knowledge of MS Office, CAD, Configuration Software,
• Specifically skilled in design.
• 3D Design capabilities
• Specifically skilled in prototyping.
• Capable of independently executing projects with an allocated design team, i.e. capable of fulfilling a project engineer role.

Responsibilities:

• New vehicle and conceptual design.
• Will work in a team consisting of junior, intermediate and senior designers.
• Capture redlines during manufacturing to review and apply to new revision.
• Work as project lead on new concept vehicle, especially the mechanical requirements and constraints
• Assist with the assembly process at factory.
• Any other task/project as required by Engineering Manager
• Sourcing parts required in the vehicle.
