Job Description
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Industrial Automation Sector is looking to employ a Mechanical Designer to join their dynamic team in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth.
:
- Develop detailed 3D models for mechanical equipment, dies, tools and controls using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions followed.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery.
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings including general assemble, bill of materials, tolerance and special comments.
- At least three years of draughting / design experience specifically in the machine building arena
- Mechanical engineering diploma or related qualification
- Experience with Inventor software
