Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
Are you a wizard with machines and love the idea of working with complex designs? A conglomerate company is on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in making waves in the marine mining industry!
Design and develop mechanical systems for marine mining equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components
Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize designs for underwater conditions
Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication
Troubleshoot and improve existing systems for enhanced performance
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in marine engineering
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Mechanical Design
FEA experience
Proficiency in CAD software
Excellent written and communication skills
Qualification:
BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
