Job Description

Looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsperson for an exciting opportunity to work for a company that does multi-disciplinary project engineering. You will be exposed to a wide range of industries while gaining exceptional career growth.

Transfer engineering sketches and specifications to detailed design and working drawings.
Development of piping and equipment general arrangement drawings.
Prepare isometric drawings for pipework.
Develop equipment layouts to engineering specifications or conceptual drawings.
Ensure that drawings produced comply with company standards and procedures.
Ensure that drawings comply with relevant national/international standards, statutes, and design codes.
Responsible for ensuring that drawings produced comply with relevant national/international standards and design codes.
Responsible for ensuring the dimensional accuracy of all work produced.
Site measurement of equipment, buildings, and structures as required.
Ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
Comply with company HR policy and procedures manual.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical drawing office with mechanical and piping drawings.
Skilled in AutoCAD
Solid understanding of the relevant standards and design codes.
Experience in a petrochemical-type drawing office will be advantageous.

Qualification:
Draughting Certificate

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
