Our well established client is seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Production Manager to lead their meat production operations. As a Meat Production Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our meat production processes. You will manage a team of production staff, oversee production schedules, and work to continually improve our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of meat production, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure that production targets and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, particularly with quality control and maintenance teams.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety and quality control procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of production staff, and establish performance expectations.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor production costs to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to meat production and safety.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in meat production or a related field, with a couple of years of managerial experience.
- In-depth knowledge of meat processing, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with production and inventory management.
