Job Summary
ProStaffSelect are in search of an Assistant Sommelier / Butler / Maitre D for this flagship fine dining Wine Estate Restaurant in the Franschhoek Winelands. The successful applicant will act as the company's SERVICE AMBASSADOR to OVERSEE service, welcome & host, educate & excite guests with wine and food selections, recommend food & wine pairing options, do wine & food service, cocktails and barista service, pamper guests & ensure an unforgettable dining experience, do beverage controls, supervise staff and do general cellar and beverage stock admin.
REQUIREMENTS:
Hotel Management, Butler or Wine Diploma (Sommelier qualifications)
Excellent Food and Wine Knowledge plus knowledge of cocktails and all beverages
OUTGOING, professional and bubbly PERSONALITY with excellent relationship building skills
Experienced and polished in fine dining Food Service, Sommeliering, Barista duties and Beverage Service
Strong personality and SALES SKILLS
FULLY Computer literate in Word & Excel
Excellent PERSONAL PRESENTATION
Confident in creating a POSITIVE GUEST EXPERIENCE
