Job Description
Responsibility:
Safety
Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies
Stock Control
- Implement and manage a stock management system
- Responsible for stock availability
- Minimum and Maximum stock levels
- Best practice guidelines and procedures
- Responsible for monthly stock takes
- Ensure regular inspections
- Parts allocation
- Housekeeping
- Manage roles and responsibilities of subordinates
- System integrity
- National Senior Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Relevant diploma / tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar designation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- PC proficient including Microsoft Office
- The ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Principles of resource management, including budgeting
- Must be customer orientated
- Must be well organised and system orientated
