Manage the Outsource processes, outputs, and resources to ensure customer OTIF and enhanced customer satisfaction within operation budgets.
Lead supplier development, supplier negotiations, RFQs, and Category strategy for major suppliers.
Optimize Factory utilization, Demand-, Inventory- and Supply parameters by managing the IBP Process.
Master Planning and Supplier management
Manage the creation of the Outsource factory masterplan, including relevant Supply agreement, Demand and Supply Planning, Buying, Production schedules, Logistics, QA/QC, Warehouse and MRP across the value chain.
Balance demand and supply effectively to achieve strategic goals.
Plan to minimize effects of supply constraints.
Develop and oversee capacity planning activities for sales and operations planning, master scheduling, marketing application timelines, materials requirement planning, scheduling at outsourced factories.
Optimize parameters across the value chain to unlock value.
Prepare input and participate in weekly and monthly IBP processes.
End-to-End Coordination and reporting
Provide internal stakeholders (AQA, Finance, Logistics) with monthly and quarterly inbound order forecasts to ensure adequate planning for their activities.
Manage, prepare, and facilitate the monthly supply point reviews.
Drive the adherence to key KPIs including budgeted, planned, and actual OTIF, ATP, Freight cost and recoveries.
Continuously liaise with CMOxe2x80x99s and LSPxe2x80x99s to attain best value for the organization.
Synchronize shipments to ensure monthly sales and recoveries plan attainment.
Risk and Controls
Assist quality teams to obtain products needed to conduct finished product testing.
Coordinate product trials and samples.
Identify supply deficits, capacity constraints and under-loaded schedules and highlight recoveries-related financial risks and critical materials shortages.
Ensure delivery terms are met and that correct documentation per shipment.
Maintain and report on adherence to internal and external compliance requirements.
Actively reduce third-party risk exposure.
Value chain optimization and continuous improvement
Develop and manage master data from all value chain units to create optimization.
Optimize processes, parameters, identify gaps in policies, procedures, and legislation, and propose changes or improvements to management.
Team Co-ordination and Continuous Improvement
Develop, review and update SOPxe2x80x99s and work instructions in line with the evolution of business unit processes.
Conduct training, coaching and performance reviews.
Implement process improvements to reduce lead-times and eliminate non-value-adding activities.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to generate alternatives and find solutions.
Management of end-to-end relevant audits (e.g., internal audits)
Financial and Inventory and Management
Provide input into budget preparation.
Implement and continuously review effective inventory control systems for the business unit.
Inventory management for stock held at CMOxe2x80x99s and Cycle Counts/Stock take including stock provisions for write off.
Skills Required
Background/experience
7 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement or Planning role.
Experience in a pharmaceutical/FMCG manufacturing environment
3-year degree in Procurement, Logistics or Engineering, or a related discipline
Specific job skills
Computer literacy: proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP system
Solid understanding of S&OP/IBP
Understanding of manufacturing, RA, QA, import, and export requirements impacting the Supply Chain
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and operations environment
End to end understanding of Supply Chain operations in Plan, Source, Make and Deliver.
