Job Description

We are looking for an exceptionally organized Engineer with background experience planning from first principles in the construction of Waste-water treatment or Process Plants - to take on the key role of MASTER PLANNER. The position will report to the Head of Department for Business Support xe2x80x93 and will be tasked with managing and co-ordinating the smooth running of project planning for the services division. The ideal candidate would have Exposure to the drawing office environment, construction experience (in Water treatment / Process Plants) and come with a tertiary qualification in Engineering (NQF Level 6) or equivalent
OVERVIEW OF ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide assistance to all project managers, head of departments, technicians, project team members and the order processing team with planning and progress measurement of their projects.
• Continuous analysis of project activities on all projects.
• Establish the projectxe2x80x99s milestones and enter these into the Companyxe2x80x99s data system/ERP system in accordance with established procedures.
• Use knowledge and information on resource availability to ensure that projectxe2x80x99s milestones are achieved.
• Schedule weekly planning meetings with the project teams including order processing to track progress
• Review and assess the planning function of the company for continuous improvement and to ensure sufficient planning resources per project.
• Scheduling of staff members and site teams in accordance with project requirements
• Provide assistance in legal claims for extension of time

• Engineering (NQF 6) or equivalent
• 3-5 yearxe2x80x99s experience in construction of Waste-water treatment or Process Plants
• Planning from first principles
• Outstanding organizational, verbal and communication skills
