Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media Management

+ Develop and implement engaging content strategies across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
+ Create monthly content calendars and coordinate with designers for visual assets.
+ Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to boost engagement and reach.
+ Stay ahead of trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Content Creation & Copywriting

+ Write compelling short-form and long-form content for digital, print, and internal platforms.
+ Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences, ensuring brand consistency.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, news, and updates.

Competitor & Market Analysis

+ Use AI-driven tools to track competitor activity and market trends.
+ Compile weekly insights and quarterly reports with actionable recommendations.
+ Identify opportunities for brand positioning and campaign innovation.

Brand Asset & Media Library Management

+ Maintain and organize digital assets in SharePoint and the Media Library.
+ Ensure all materials are correctly tagged, updated, and archived.
+ Support the creation and distribution of marketing collateral across the business.

Internal Communication (TseboNet)

+ Manage and publish internal announcements and content.
+ Ensure content is current, visually aligned with CI, and archived appropriately.
+ Work closely with designers to maintain a polished and professional internal brand presence.

Corporate Identity (CI) & Brand Governance

+ Ensure all marketing materials adhere to Tsebo's CI guidelines.
+ Update branded templates and documents in collaboration with the design team.
+ Act as a brand ambassador, guiding internal stakeholders on correct usage.

Visual Content & Event Support

+ Coordinate photography and videography sessions, ensuring POPIA compliance.
+ Attend shoots, manage logistics, and support post-production processes.
+ Assist with event planning, logistics, and marketing material preparation.

Administrative & Marketing Operations

+ Support the Experience Center with updated marketing materials and displays.
+ Create and manage SharePoint forms for internal and external use.
+ Assist the Group Marketing team with ad hoc projects and deliverables.

Qualifications

A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a similar marketing role. Proven skills in social media management, content creation, and copywriting. Familiarity with SharePoint, CMS platforms, and digital asset tools. * Bonus: Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, and marketing automation tools.
