Marketing Operations Manager (Funnels, CRM, Automations) - Fully Remote
$1,750-$2,000/month + bonus - Full-time
Summary
You will own our marketing operations systems so leads turn into booked jobs and cleaner hires - fast follow-up, clean CRM, working funnels, and clear reporting.
This is a hands-on operations role inside marketing.
You will not be the paid ads specialist - we use a vendor for that.
But you will make paid ads work by keeping tracking, routing, funnels, and follow-up tight - and by holding performance accountable.
If you naturally notice broken funnels, messy pipelines, missed follow-ups, or wasted spend and think "Fix it now," you'll fit in here.
What You'll Own
CRM cleanliness (duplicates, stages, pipelines, tagging, task hygiene)
Lead routing and follow-up reliability (so leads don't leak)
Funnel performance (landing pages, forms, booking flow, conversion points)
Weekly reporting that shows what's working and what's slipping
Vendor coordination (clear asks, clear metrics, fast action)
What You'll Actually Do
1) Lead System Performance (Core)
Make sure every lead is captured, tagged correctly, routed correctly, and followed up fast
Fix breakdowns like missed follow-ups, wrong pipeline stages, and slow response time
Reduce lead waste when operations capacity is tight (without breaking the pipeline long-term)
2) Funnels, CRM, and Automation (Core)
Build, optimize, and maintain funnels and workflows inside GoHighLevel
Maintain pipelines, triggers, automations, forms, and follow-up sequences
Improve recruiting automations and related systems (example: BreezyHR workflows, lead intake, routing rules)
3) Tracking, Reporting, and KPI Visibility (Core)
Track weekly performance across lead volume, lead quality, speed-to-lead, booking conversion, and key drop-off points
Keep reporting clean and simple so leadership can make decisions fast
Surface problems early - don't wait for a "why are booked jobs down?" meeting
4) Paid Ads Vendor Management (Important - Vendor Runs Ads)
You will not be building campaigns inside ad accounts daily. Instead, you will:
Coordinate with our paid ads vendor (Google/LSA/Meta) and ensure they have what they need to succeed
Review weekly performance (spend, CPL/CPA, lead quality, conversion to booked jobs/hire flow)
Hold the vendor accountable to outcomes with clear questions and action items
Ensure the systems around ads are strong (tracking, landing pages, routing, follow-up)
5) Testing and Optimization (Ongoing)
Run simple, fast tests that improve conversion (offer tests, landing page tweaks, form improvements, follow-up timing)
Measure results and either scale what works or kill what doesn't
Improve processes based on real data, not opinions
6) Systems Improvements and Light Tech Support (Nice-to-Have)
Build or improve automations using Zapier (only when it reduces manual work or improves conversion)
Maintain the "glue" systems that keep marketing ops clean and reliable
Help reduce admin work and prevent errors through smart workflow design
This Role Is Not
Not a social media content role
Not a "post on Instagram and chill" job
Not a pure GoHighLevel admin role with no ownership
Not a paid ads media buyer role (we use a vendor)
Not a fit if you avoid numbers, follow-through, or accountability
You'll Be A Fit If
You've owned funnels/CRM systems and improved performance with real metrics
You are organized, fast, and consistent with follow-through
You like clean systems and clear reporting
You can work with vendors confidently and push for outcomes
You catch problems early and fix them without needing reminders
Requirements
Reliable laptop + strong internet (remote)
Strong spoken English (Spanish is a plus, not required)
Experience with CRMs, funnels, and marketing ops systems (GoHighLevel is a plus)
Experience building automations (Zapier/Make or inside a CRM)
Comfortable tracking numbers and reporting weekly results
Compensation
$1,750-$2,000/month + bonus potential
Full-time, fully remote
Performance matters more than clock-watching
