REPORTING TO THE VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING JOB PURPOSE Implements Marketing and Public Relations strategies to ensure good information flow within the Company as well as a positive public image of the Company. Manages the full scope of Digital marketing activities within the Company. JOB FUNCTION PR and Media Communication Identify potential media release opportunities through participation in GMTs, Agency meetings and liaison with relevant managers Coordinate Fact Sheets for the briefing of the PR Agency and gather relevant documents and photographs to support each story Brief the PR Agency and assist where necessary to set up interviews between staff and writers / journalists as required by the PR Agency Monitor and assess media activity and ROI Ensure all staff and customers are kept informed of media activity, news and events Electronic Media Manage online brand and product campaigns to achieve agreed objectives Manage supplier and ensure design of global company website is implemented, maintained and improved as required Monitor website performance and coordinate improvements in conjunction with Agency Actively drive and manage new content Co-ordinate internal projects and complete within target date Lead Management Monitor and action all incoming mail leads generated from the website Maintain records of all leads as per departmental standards Monitor conversions and report on ROI as requested General Administration Maintain accurate records of online media activities
QUALIFICATION Grade 12 Marketing/PR Diploma REQUIREMENTS 5 years relevant experience in a similar role specifically with digital marketing, agency management and website management experience Travel is required for the role: valid drivers license and own reliable transport is essential Excellent communication and English language skills (written and verbal), exceptional organisational skills and has the ability to prioritise own and supplier activities and work under pressure Innovative, customer focused, contributes to team success, quality orientated, follows up, is able to use social networking tools and applies digital literacy to work context Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet Website Management / SEO and Social Media
