Job Purpose





To provide expertise, advice and support of all marketing and public relations management activities and processes in order to deliver on approved marketing and public relations operational plans and to continuously enhance service delivery.

PROCESS




Advise on and ensure the accurate use and dissemination of area specific marketing and communication material; verifying the outcome of messages. Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision making processes. Conduct research to identify new opportunities/technologies which could result in better operational processes. Coordinate and manage all public relations processes and activities, including the brand's press fleet. Define standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure legal compliance to output and advertising standards. Ensure that marketing material, media announcements and standard documentation are legally sound, meets business needs and comply to Importer specific requirements and standards. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis. Keep up to date with marketing trends and industry innovations. Keeping up to date with marketing trends and industry innovations. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media. Maintain and coordinate a communication network of internal and external stakeholders to ensurecompliance, requirements are adhered to and applicable support to associated communication efforts. Manage media inquiries and interview requests. Provide specialist advice to enable planning for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services. Provide specialist advice to identify and develop solutions to improve quality of processes and services. Design advertisements and relevant marketing material to attract and retain current customers. Develop and deliver highly targeted, well-planned, coordinated and integrated marketing campaigns through optimal use of best technology and platforms. Ensuring the customer database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities . Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, both in support of traditional as well as stand alone digital campaigns.

FINANCE




Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial wastage related to materials or equipment. Ensure that the marketing resources and equipment are managed in a manner that enhance cost effective utilisation.

CLIENT




Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers' expectations in the business. Attend to the day-to-day management of external public relations agencies. Build sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence. Continuously monitor actual process turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues efficiently to enhance effective client service delivery. Participate in relevant customer or stakeholder forums.

PEOPLE




Lead and manage indirect teams by providing meaningful context, setting performance standards and educating on policy and process. Own and live up to company values.

Qualifications and Experience






Minimum Experience




5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2 - 3 years' supervisory / team lead experience



Minimum Qualification




Bachelor of Commerce: Marketing

Minimum Requirement
