Marketing Manager - Inpatient

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible to position, advertise and market HARTMANN brands effectively to achieve Sales, profitability and other targets as set out in the annual and the long-range plans (LRP). Achieve targets by understanding the needs and wants of the customer within the target market and the regulatory environment. Responsibilities:
Provide in-depth market, industry and competitor analysis
Position Hartmann and Hollister brands favourably and effectively communicating product differentiating factors to different customer segments, within the regulatory framework
Develop in depth marketing plans addressing both the strategic and tactical implementation initiatives to achieve product objective in terms of sales and profitability expectations.
Develop an annual budget and quarterly forecast in consultation with the Inpatient National Sales Manager and approval by the MD, including pricing strategy.
Train the sales team through campaign implementation and ensure that tactical execution at field level is planned and implemented according the strategic and product objectives.
Travel regularly with the sales team to ensure in-field strategy implementation and receive feedback from our customers.
Forecast product requirements per Business Division and Channel, identify potential supply issues and develop contingency plans with the Operations Team.
Develop, implement and update of medical product and disease training to the team and customers on a regular basis.
Manage promotional budget to achieve maximum return on investment
Develop relations with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry to further establish the organisation as a pioneer in the field.
Continuously seek opportunities to grow the market through new customers, direct to consumer and digital opportunities.
Evaluate portfolio extension opportunities, launch new products in line with Global Business Division plans.
Evaluate and propose pricing for all relevant channels.
Compile monthly reports for internal use and to be shared with the National Sales Manager - Inpatient.
Qualifications:
Relevant Degree/Diploma
Minimum 3 years marketing experience in the medical devices or similar industry
