Job Description

Job Purpose:



The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing the company's marketing and brand strategy to drive growth, awareness, and engagement. This role manages the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Strategic Marketing & Brand Development



Develop and implement a comprehensive

marketing and brand strategy

aligned with company goals. Strengthen the company's brand presence across digital and traditional platforms. Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas. Ensure all marketing activities reflect the brand's tone, values, and visual identity. Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategy and positioning.

2. Campaign Management & Execution



Plan, coordinate, and oversee

marketing campaigns

--digital, retail, and promotional. Manage advertising, social media, PR, email marketing, and content creation initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure impactful campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on effectiveness and ROI.

3. Team Leadership & Collaboration



Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team (Graphic Designer, Marketing & Digital Coordinator). Set clear goals, manage workloads, and encourage creativity and accountability. Provide guidance and support in design, content, and digital execution. Foster collaboration across departments (Sales, Operations, Product Development) to align marketing activities with business needs.

4. Digital Marketing & Online Presence



Oversee website, SEO, SEM, and social media strategy to increase traffic and engagement. Ensure the brand's digital presence is consistent, engaging, and measurable. Leverage analytics tools to monitor digital performance and adjust strategy accordingly. Manage paid media campaigns and budget allocation.

5. Budgeting & Reporting



Develop and manage the

marketing budget

effectively to maximize ROI. Track expenditures and ensure alignment with overall business priorities. Report regularly on performance metrics, market insights, and campaign outcomes.

6. Brand Growth & Innovation



Identify opportunities for

brand partnerships, collaborations, and activations

. Support product launches, retail promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Drive innovation in marketing approaches--creative concepts, storytelling, and digital trends.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving ability.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Honours advantageous). 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven experience managing teams and developing brand strategies. Experience with digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads, Mailchimp, etc.). Graphic design knowledge or experience managing creatives is an advantage. Experience within an FMCG, retail, or consumer brand environment beneficial.
