Marketing Associate
Job Description
Essence of the job:
The Marketing Associate provides support to the Marketing and Strategy Consultant with regards to internal and external branding, administration, bulk email (Mailchimp), communication, and design (desktop publishing). The Marketing Associate will act as the internal brand champion.
Qualification:
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in marketing
Minimum Requirements:
3 years' experience in generalist marketing, including digital marketing, internal and external branding, design and desktop publishing, event management and some copy writing (proof reading).
Assist the Marketing Consultant with all communication duties to ensure compliance with marketing strategy and brand.
Assist in identifying marketing opportunities.
Develop and execute ad hoc campaigns as required by the business support wealth managers
Maintain the company website, ensuring information is updated and functionality working correctly.
Develop and update marketing materials (e.g., newsletters, brochures, presentations, banners etc.) - Desktop Publishing and design.
Computer Literacy:
Required: Microsoft Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook & PowerPoint), Canva or other design software Advantageous: Adobe, SharePoint, Mailchimp.
