Job Description

A global Health and Hygiene company are seeking a Marketing Activation Manager based in Gauteng.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing plans in local markets across Brands and Channels.

  • Formulate & execute marketing plans, in collaboration with BMs and the local commercial organization across brands and channels (BTB & BTC);
  • Formulate and present local brand plans & execution strategies to local & global stakeholders;
  • Manage A & P spend & activity, in collaboration with BM, ensuring KPI's are met, and strategic plans are executed;
  • Manage Toolkit & Brand CI in local market across all communication and execution assets including local adaptations and regulatory approval
  • Provides channel, customers & market insights to the commercial organization and BMs
  • Drives in market data analysis and capturing, i.e. Nielsen, IQVIA , SSD etc.
  • Partners with sales for synchronization of sales and marketing activities and execution at customers and at point of purchase
  • Is involved in strategic key account annual planning with Sales to drive and optimize portfolio mix
  • Manages forecasting and portfolio changes, including new launches
  • Overseas and ensures GP%, volume mix & product mix is healthy and maintained
  • Ensure brand knowledge and education is kept abreast both internal and external aligned with global guidance by leveraging and using all learning platforms
  • External stakeholder & agency management
  • Works in field with sales & key account stakeholders to gain market insights - reporting it back to all stakeholders
  • Drives Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development & engagement.
Requirements:
  • Must have metric, and University degree or Tertiary Qualification in Marketing or Business Administration with commercial subjects
  • 3-5 years' experience in Marketing FMCG and Retail in the same or similar role as in Health/Med Tech industry
  • Commercial and business acumen, be able to translate brand visions into effective strategies, propositions and plans that fulfill the vision and are financially viable
  • Develops effective launch plans for innovation initiatives managing business requests and expectations
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to drive performance and processes forward
  • Must be innovative, analytical, influential, insightful, courageous and decisive.
