Have a good understanding of the needs and preferences of different stakeholders, such as regulators, insurers, physicians, and patients in regards to price and reimbursements. Developing value propositions and evidence-based arguments to demonstrate the clinical and economic benefits of the company's products. Negotiating with payers and authorities to secure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and market access conditions for the company's products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to align market access objectives and activities with the overall business strategy. Monitoring and evaluating the performance and impact of market access initiatives as well as price and reimbursement, provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. Liaise and follow-up with practices and healthcare providers to ensure details are correct and complete on reimbursement application documentation. Undertake quarterly or bi-annual reviews of reimbursement status of all promoted products at major medical schemes/administrators and subsequently populate reimbursement tables for dissemination to the sales force. Liaise with Medical schemes/administrators regarding reimbursement status of our products if not available in the public domain e.g. Botswana and Namibia. To advise internally on price proposal and potential for formulary listings Mitigate any reimbursement issues To provide guidance and advice for targeted reimbursement of all products to ensure the best possible access across multiple funders and options. This will include strategic engagements with regards to the development of current and prospective broader market access. Beneficial to have knowledge and understanding of market access environment in Eastern Africa, listing at private / public institutions, pricing structure, and stakeholders. Minimum Required: Science degree: BSc in Medical Sciences. At least 3 xe2x80x93 5 years working experience in Market Access Officer Position with a pharmaceutical company. Deep scientific knowledge on the therapeutic area (Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular, Oncology) Excellent communication skills Ability to establish and maintain stable relationships with Medical Schemes operating in Southern Africa and key opinion leaders High command in English Senior Business Acume Job Type: Permanent Application Question(s):
