Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

A Diploma/Degree in Operations Management would be an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

At least 5 years of senior management experience.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to the entire Manufacturing Team, setting clear objectives.

Manage the performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with annual goals.

Cultivate a positive working environment to enhance staff morale and productivity.

Collaborate with the Executive team to develop strategic operational goals.

Develop long-range plans to achieve department objectives.

Monitor operational performance, both internally and with external service providers.

Efficiently schedule production, staff, and resources while controlling costs and maintaining quality.

Drive continuous improvement in all manufacturing aspects.
