Leading and manages all aspects of manufacturing
Provide confidence in the manufacturing vision, supporting the company overall company strategy
Serves as an interface between production and service department such as Engineering, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Maintenance, Product Development and Human Resources
Set annual production volume targets, staffing requirements, as well as expense budgets
Ensure maximum people efficiency through effective planning and machine utilization
Ensure customer requirements in terms of quality and production target are achieved
Holds overall responsibility for the health and safety for the Manufacturing Team
Minimize the risk of product failures by adhering to the required international and national manufacturing and safety standards

Job Requirements:

Must be an inspirational leader, coach and mentor to subordinates.
Original in thinking must continuously be in search for improvements
Must trust and be trusted by the manufacturing team and peers
Must be fully familiar with the latest manufacturing trends and technologies
Must be able to lead the manufacturing team to the next level of excellence
Formal academic qualification in either engineering or production
Ideally supplemented by a post graduate qualification
Ten years experience in a senior managerial role, ideally within the component manufacturing industry
