Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a talented Manager for their Workout & Restructuring department. This permanent role is based in Centurion and offers a chance to make a significant impact on the bank's corporate banking clients.
Responsibilities:
- Identify corporate banking clients in need of proactive intervention to mitigate risk and minimize losses.
- Develop and implement innovative commercial restructuring solutions for distressed clients.
- Seek opportunities for new investors to resuscitate struggling businesses and safeguard the interests of the bank.
- Utilize turnaround methodologies to provide technical expertise and craft effective business rescue plans.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of managing distressed corporate banking clients.
- 3 years of Business / Commercial Qualification (BCOM)
- 5-8 years of Corporate Banking experience, including:
- Corporate Finance / Banking deal structuring
- Structured trade and commodity finance
- Strong Financial and Credit Analysis and Assessment background
- Formulating business turnaround plans
- Evaluation of business restructures or workouts
- Managing the turnaround of distressed clients
