Job Description
Sunshine Seedling Services, part of the TWK group, has the following vacancy available: Manager: Vegetative Propagation at Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the clonal hedges
- Ensure that tasks are completed to ISO9001 standards
- Ensure strict adherence to procedures
- Ensure hygiene in tunnels
- Adherence to Health and Safety requirements
- Conduct trial work
- Maintenance of the tunnels, misting and watering
- Assist in the working and maintenance of the nursery when required
- Record information on a daily basis for computer capturing
- Maintain the stock levels of key materials
- Matric / Grade 12
- 5 years' experience in a Nursery
- Diploma in Horticulture
- Supervising experience
- Mechanical experience (advantageous)
- Driver's license (advantageous)
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English and Zulu
- Ability to work in a Team
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ablity to multi task
- Reliable individual
