We are looking for a
Manager: RMM
to lead and manage Maintenance Management by ensuring professional maintenance engineering service and technical expertise is provided to RBM and to carry the legal appointment as Engineer in charge, in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act 2.13.1.
Reporting to the
General Manager
and working in a challenging and exciting environment you will:
Implement the reliability and maintenance strategy for the improvement of maintenance effectiveness and ensure maintenance is completed to plans and schedules.
Provide strategic directions to the Maintenance team through assessments, analyzing, compliance reporting and training.
Compile the current medium- and long-term plans to provide business with an accurate prediction of activities and financial implication thereof.
Ensure Asset Management practices, specifications and procedures are maintained and adhered to accordingly and approval on capital or abnormal maintenance applications for approved modifications or projects.
Ensure continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility and regularly attend CIP presentations and provide the necessary support and infrastructure for corporate goal attainment.
Assign tasks to team members in line with their knowledge and work experience and assist with Vendor Selection and competency audits.
Ensure all related capital projects are completed within scope and budget and provide the necessary support and infrastructure for corporate goal attainment.
Provide specialized technical leadership to the RMM team and design and align KPIs for profitable business growth that drive the teams toward achievements and create team spirit across the department.
What you'll bring

Tertiary degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Government Certificate of Competency (GCC - Mines & works) is Essential
Management Development Programme (MDP) or a Business Management Qualification will be an added Advantage
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Mining environment of which 5 years or more must be in a managerial role.
A valid South African driver's license.
