To manage assigned Real Estate Finance solutions (REF) and / or workstreams, for structured Debt Solutions, across the deal lifecycle. To enable the achievement of revenue targets and exceptional client delivery, within the Africa Regions portfolio.

Qualifications

Key Role Requirements :

• Develop Lending solution ideas and recommendations to support the content development of proposals, pitch books and other client documentation, ensuring all information is articulated in a clear, concise and quality manner for use in client engagements.
• Lead, support and participate in deal negotiations for structured Debt Solutions. Negotiate, document and advise clients on loan agreements, bond indentures and related contracts. Coordinate activities amongst internal and external stakeholders to complete all contracting requirements to successfully close deals
• Build, review and maintain applicable REF financial models (e.g. valuations, financial and / or transactional) to effectively structure vanilla Debt Solutions and / or contribute towards structuring structured Debt Solutions and the development of base case models and term sheets.

• Undergraduate Degree in Business Commerce, Accounting or related disciplines
• At least 5 - 6 years experience in Real Estate or Property Finance Solutions within Investment Banking
• At least 2 years experience in building complex financial models (including applicable REF models, e.g. valuations and transactional), and analyzing large amounts of data and information to develop and present reports to key stakeholders. Working independently in managing concurrent work processes and driving delivery on multiple deals / projects with minimal supervision.
• At least 3-4 years understanding and knowledge of local and global Lending products / solutions to effectively develop and present innovative client solutions within the Property sector.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Lending deal process and life cycle, with experience in executing deals from cradle to grave.
• At least 3-4 years working with and interpreting relevant regulatory frameworks within Credit Risk or related field experience.
• Exposure to deal making across Africa Regions would be preferred
