Job Description

Job Purpose To manage the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Quickshop within a service station environment. This includes responsibility for sales, staff supervision, inventory control, and the implementation of operational and administrative systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Quickshop operations to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.
• Manage sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure accurate reconciliations, and maintain effective stock controls.
• Prepare budgets, manage expenditure, and analyse variances to optimise profitability.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive promotional displays, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Implement and monitor automation/digital platforms for improved efficiency.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a managerial/supervisory role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and retail operating systems.
• Ability to lead and inspire a high-performance team.
• Strong problem-solving ability, commercial acumen, and customer service focus.
