Job Purpose

Manage a team of system support staff responsible to support and maintain the loan management solution built around Loan IQ and to represent the Loan IQ stakeholder community as subject matter experts in the Loan IQ Squad.

Job Responsibilities

  • Foster a high-performing, diverse, and engaged Systems Support Team.
  • Enhance knowledge of Loan IQ and the wider integrated solution through ongoing training.
  • Proactively manage succession planning and talent development within the System Support Team.
  • Provide ongoing training, motivate staff, and encourage teamwork.
  • Build a trusting relationship with direct reports, mentor and coach, motivate staff, and encourage teamwork
  • Guide the System Support Team in providing innovative and practical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Optimize technology features, build user knowledge, and ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Ensure the System Support Team Proactively manage operational risks, internal/external audits, and adhere to governance processes.
  • Guide the System Support Team in conducting acceptance tests for user stories and emphasize automated testing, contribution to efficient planning and prioritization of deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for effective change management and technical solutions.
  • Optimize the use of System Support Team supporting systems, drive process improvements, and adopt Agile practices.
  • Motivate the team to contribute positively to Nedbank's culture, participate in team events, and foster an inclusive and innovative work environment.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification

Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees, preferably B.Com / IT

Preferred Certifications

Scaled Agile Framework certification

Minimum Experience Level

5 - 10 years working experience (Business and/or Information Technology).
