Responsible for the day-to-day functioning of a residential facility for older persons and 4 life-rights units.
Duties include:
Management of the residential facility for older persons and 4 life-rights units
Management and development of staff
Budget management
Liaison with residents, families, the community, and the Board of Management
Administrative duties
Strategic planning
Marketing and fundraising
Monitoring and evaluation of service delivery quality
Position requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge and experience in staff management and finance
Knowledge and experience in elder care
Knowledge of applicable legislation and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
Knowledge and experience in fundraising and marketing
Bilingual: Afrikaans and English
Valid driver's licence (PDP to be obtained after appointment)
Computer literate
Ability to coordinate and present functions/events
Health and Safety Representative (16.1)

Experience in managing a residential facility for older persons

Positive attitude towards older persons
