To conduct thorough research on the local franchise market and relevant sectors, identifying emerging trends and potential opportunities. Develop and execute strategies to enhance the performance and profitability of franchise operations for both franchisors and franchisees. Assess and develop credit risk appetite frameworks in line with the banks credit policy. Provide expert guidance and support to franchisors and franchisees regarding operational best practices, marketing strategies, and compliance with regulations. To thoroughly explore each sector and its associated brands, uncovering their unique value chains and accessing the inherent opportunities they offer. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external key stakeholders, including franchise owners, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal key stakeholders. To collaborate with internal functional units to create bespoke value propositions for various brands across all sectors and industries. Analyse financial data, market reports, and performance metrics to optimize franchise operations. Monitor industry changes, legal requirements, and market dynamics to advise on necessary adaptations or improvements for franchises. To implement the franchising offering and enable provinces to execute through the provision of specialist input and franchising deal making expertise in order to drive acquisition and book growth for Business and Commercial Banking South Africa. Provide franchising subject matter expertise to all internal stakeholders.



Qualifications



Qualification



Business Commerce Degree

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field

Postgrad advantageous



Experience



5-7 years Proven experience (minimum 5 years) working specifically within the franchise sector in South Africa, demonstrating a deep understanding of its dynamics and challenges
